Justin Bieber "Hyped" After Making Beats with Dr. Dre

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 21, 2010

Justin Bieber's name is everywhere these days and can be found in everything from Paul McCartney mash-ups to comic books. And even though his music appeals primarily to tweens, he's been earning himself some street cred with the hip-hop crowd as of late - just see this performance from the Junos, in which he performed alongside Drake and K'naan. Now, in a new tweet, the pop sensation revealed that he recently spent a day in the studio with iconic producer Dr. Dre.

Bieber wrote, "Got to be in the studio with the legend himself Dr. Dre... made a couple beats and he gave me some advice... i was hyped. can u blame me?"

No, Justin, we can't blame you. We can, however, blame Dre, who should know better than to hang out with teenybopper pop stars (well, unless he plans on making the Biebs into the next Eminem). If he keeps getting distracted like this, he might never finish his eternally delayed new album, Detox.

We leave you with the ever-classic video of Bieber hitting his head on a glass door:
