The Junction

"Waves"

Ontario trio the Junction have unveiled a new track called "Waves," the second cut to be revealed from their upcoming full-length, Grievances.

Though recorded at a bleak time in frontman Brent Jackson's life (the demise of a seven-year relationship left him "homeless" and heartbroken), "Waves" is a surprisingly upbeat, tambourine-heavy toe-tapper that arrives with some equally cheerful album art (see above) "inspired by classic LP cover art of the '50s and '60s."

As previously reported, the Junction will release Grievances on March 6 via the Junction Inc./Fontana North. To mark the occasion, they have a handful of shows lined up in Southern Ontario.

Tour dates:

2/18 Toronto, ON - Magpie
3/10 Toronto, ON - Horseshoe Tavern
3/24 Kingston, ON - The Mansion
3/30 Hamilton, ON - The Casbah
