Julie Doiron, By Divine Right and Wax Mannequin Hit Guelph for Stay out of the Mall VIII
This month, the eighth edition of music extravaganza Stay out of the Mall will once again take place in Guelph, ON. The two-day event will be held at at Ebar (41 Quebec St.), featuring the Burning Hell, Wax Mannequin, Diamond Rings and Valery Gore on December 16, and By Divine Right, Julie Doiron, the Skeletones Four and Gregory Pepper & His Problems on December 17.

The festival was founded by Exclaim! assistant editor Vish Khanna, whose friend Sharon Marshall lost her life to cancer in 1997. Proceeds from all tickets sold will go to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory for leukemia research.

Tickets are only $8 a night, with a non-perishable food donation for the Guelph Food Bank ($10 without), and are available at both the Bookshelf (41 Quebec St., Guelph) and the Orange Monkey (005 Princess St., Waterloo, ON).
