Julie Doiron & The Wrong Guys Plot Winter Tour, Announce New 7-Inch

Four years on from their inception, Julie Doiron & the Wrong Guys are set to drop some new music this winter, having announced a new 7-inch release and a short tour.

The group, which features Doiron, Eamon McGrath, and Cancer Bats members Mike Peters and Jaye Schwarzer, will release the two-track 7-inch through their own Wrong Guys Records imprint. Featuring the tracks "Homeless" and "Farther from You," the release is said to be a first look at what to expect from their first full-length as a band, which is due out early next year.

Along with the 7-inch release, the band have mapped out a small winter tour across Canada, with dates in Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. A press release reveals that more shows will be announced soon, but you can take a look at the current itinerary below.

The 7-inch is currently available in a digital format through Bandcamp, with a physical release on the way for January 2017. Take a listen to both "Homeless" and "Farther from Your" in the player below.
