Interpol frontman Paul Banks is back under the Julian Plenti moniker to deliver his new EP Julian Plenti Lives…, and you can listen to track "Summertime Is Coming" now.
Maintaining the moody croon he established as the voice of Interpol, the new tune was previously described as "beautiful" and "brooding," which is pretty much accurate.
The rest of the five-track EP is rounded out by covers of J Dilla, Frank Sinatra and composer Harold Faltermeyer, plus an instrumental number.
