L.A.-based songstress Julia Holter recently revealed plans to release her next LP Have You in My Wilderness, and now she's shared another cut from the upcoming album.
"Sea Calls Me Home" follows "Feel You" and continues to embody the record's promise of "warm, dark and raw" songs that explore themes of love, trust and human relationships without the constraints of typical pop music. Blending organic and electronic sounds, the instrumentation is richly textured, but takes a back seat to Holter's voice, which carries the song and captivates the listener. That said, there's also a pretty sweet sax solo.
