The end is nigh for metal legends Judas Priest, who announced that their upcoming "Epitaph" tour would be their last ever. Following a number of European this summer, the group have confirmed a more extensive outing that includes a number of shows in Canada.

After fall shows in South American and the U.S., Rob Halford and co. will come to Western Canada in late October/early November for shows in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary. Then, following three more weeks of U.S. shows, they will return for dates in Toronto, Quebec City and Montreal. In the new year, they're off to Japan. See the schedule below.

At the shows, fans can pick up the band's new compilation, The Chosen Few, due out October 11 via Legacy/Sony. The album's tracklist was curated by fellow heavy metal legends, including Ozzy Osbourne, James Hetfield, Lemmy and more, who each picked their favourite Judas Priest song to appear on the disc.

Scroll past the tour schedule to see the 17-song tracklist list. The name of the artist who chose each track is listed after the song title.

The band also have a massive Single Cuts box set on the way, which features 52 tracks spread over 20 CDs. Due out October 10, it's available through the band's website, so go here to pre-order.
