West Coast singer-songwriter Joshua Hyslop is currently bringing his music into Canadians' living rooms on a house show tour, but he's still found the time to unveil a brand new track, and Exclaim.ca has got the exclusive premiere.
"How You've Been" is a woeful, slow-paced folk number, exploring a bit of a darker side than what we've heard on previous cuts like "Wish You Well." Like any good traditional folk number, it sounds as if it draws some inspiration from the whiskey bottle and toys with the tension between god and the devil.
