Published Aug 06, 2010Having performed solo for the last few years, Swedish indie folkster José González has spent 2010 getting reacquainted with his old band, Junip. The trio have already released a free EP, Rope & Summit, and played a number of shows in the U.S. and Europe. Now, with a LP, Fields, due out on September 14, Junip are getting setting to hit the road once more, and this time there are Canadian dates.
The outing will last for most of November and includes stops in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. They will be joined on the road by Brooklyn songstress Sharon Van Etten.
If you head over to Junip's new website, you can sign up for the mailing list and download the Rope & Summit EP for free. Over at SoundCloud, you can take a listen to "Always," the first song off of the upcoming album. See Fields artwork above and the tracklist below the tour dates.
