Published Oct 09, 2012British Columbia folk-pop charmer Jordan Klassen went on tour in Canada back in the spring, and now he's getting ready to do the same this fall.
The outing kicks off later this month and lasts until early December. In that time, Klassen will start off in his home province before heading east as far as Quebec. He will then make his way back and wrap up back on the West Coast. The schedule includes 19 shows in all, most of them with Mike Edel.
The first gig of the bunch is on October 17 at Tom Lee Music Hall in Vancouver, where Klassen will present a covers night called Abbey Road on Granville Street. As the name of the event indicates, it will feature a host of local acts covering the Beatles' Abbey Road in its entirety. Guests include Oh No! Yoko, In Medias Res, Ma Petite, Zaac Pick and Bed of Stars.
Buy tickets here. Proceeds go to the Union Gospel Mission.
Klassen will release a new full-length in 2013. In the meantime, he has been sharing a series of videos called #VanCorners, in which he performs at some of his favourite spots in Vancouver. Three of the planned four videos have been released, so check those out at the bottom of the page.
