While we just got a trailer to Paul Thomas Anderson's new Jonny Greenwood-scored film Phantom Thread, we've now got word of yet another new release from the Radiohead guitar virtuoso.
Greenwood's Water — a piece captured with the Australian Chamber Orchestra — will be released as a new album this fall.
As previously reported, Water was originally made by Greenwood and the orchestra following Radiohead's Australian tour in late 2012. It then later premiered in 2014. Now, though, the peice will finally be getting a proper at-home release on vinyl come November 10.
As Pitchfork points out, the Australian Chamber Orchestra just made the announcement.
By the looks of the post, the vinyl release will also feature a Mozart work helmed by orchestra director Richard Tognetti, who also served as conductor on Greenwood's Water.
In the video below, you can learn more about Water. The clip features Greenwood and Tognetti participating in a candid video interview about the work. It also previews some of the music.
