Jonathan Snipes of the Sub Pop-signed clipping. is back up to his creepy ways, with plans to provide new chilling contributions to an in-the-works documentary on haunted houses called Haunters.

A Kickstarter campaign behind the project has filmmakers the Brain Factory explaining that Haunters is "a feature documentary about the visionary entertainers who create the most popular & notorious haunted houses in the world." They expect the project to premiere in 2015.

Director/producer Jon Schnitzer has spent the last year travelling to facilities like Knott's Scary Farm to discover the ins and outs of spookhouses. The goal is to shine a light on how commercial haunted houses are prepped and maintained, as well as how fans react to an assault of scares.

The film will feature an original score from Snipes, who, in addition to weaving chilling soundscapes for clipping., has prepped scored for The Shining documentary Room 237 and Starry Eyes. Producers have also secured the rights to use two songs from Ryan Gosling's Dead Man's Bones project.

Down below, you'll find the freak-out-inducing trailer for the film, which features Snipes terrorscapes in the back half. There's also the Kickstarter pledge video at the bottom of the page.

The Kickstarter campaign is ongoing, having scared up roughly $6,000 of its $30,000 goal so far. The pledge drive ends November 15. You can find out more about the project, as well as its multiple incentive packages for backers, over here.
