Jonathan Richman has never hit the big-time, but his tireless work ethic just might make him the most dedicated sexagenarian in the music business. He celebrated his 60th birthday back in May, but the veteran troubadour is still releasing music and going on extensive tours. This fall, he will be hitting the road once again in North America.
The outing will last more than a month and will take him across the continent with stops of both coasts. This includes an impressive six shows in Canada. Following a performance in Vancouver on September 27, Richman will travel across the country and play gigs in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto (for two nights) and Montreal.
Richman's most recent album was 2010's O Moon, Queen of Night on Earth. Knowing him, it won't be too long until we hear the follow-up. In the meantime catch him live at the dates listed below.
