Published Dec 28, 2016Long-running Bakersfield, CA outfit Korn have been responsible for both inventing and preserving nü metal over the decades. In addition to their weird blend of bagpipes, scatting and rap metal, the group also has an iconic logo to thank for their longevity.
Over the weekend, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis decided to share a glimpse into the logo's origins. Taking to Facebook, he posted his original drawing for the band's logo.
Hashtagging it a #KornThrowback, Davis explained that he drew the logo with his left hand, using nothing but a crayon.
It obviously paid off, as this is one of the most recognizable logos from the early 2000s.
Check out Davis's drawing below. Here's hoping #KornThrowback becomes the next big hashtag.
