British Columbia music fans looking to celebrate Christmas with a handful of beloved Canadian artists will get a chance to do just that thanks to laid-back Vancouver Island folk duo Jon and Roy, who have announced the details of their fifth annual Holiday Special.
Like in previous years, the band will be bring the show to Alix Goolden Hall in Victoria on December 15 and at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver on December 13. This year, the event will also come to the Sid Williams Theatre in Courtenay, BC, on December 14.
In addition to Jon and Roy, the shows feature Buck 65, Mother Mother frontman Ryan Guldemond, Horse Feathers, and Current Swell members Scott Stanton and David Lang. The evening is billed as a "revue," with each act giving an intimate "unplugged-style" performance.
A press release says, "Come join in for a warm and festive evening, filled with some of the best music of the Pacific Northwest!" Tickets are on sale now.
