UK producer Joker works wonders in both the grime and dubstep fields, as he displayed well on his 2011 4AD debut The Vision. A sophomore album is finally on the way, which he's teased via the new outtake "Digital Mainframe."
Though it won't make the final cut, "Digital Mainframe" should give us some idea of where Joker is at production-wise. The song kicks off with some classy pianos before kicking in with some horn stabs, lush drums and jazzy melodies. It stays even-keeled throughout, retaining a classy sound without ever falling into dubstep tropes.
