John Maus Returns with 'Screen Memories,' Details Career-Spanning Vinyl Box Set

After hinting at his return with a strange teaser clip earlier in the month, John Maus has lifted the curtain on his first new record in six years.

Titled Screen Memories, the album will arrive through Ribbon Music on October 27. A press release reveals that the effort was recorded by Maus in his Minnesota home over "the last few years."

In addition to Screen Memories, Maus has announced the arrival of a career-spanning vinyl box set, set to arrive in the week of April 16, 2018. The package collects all of the man's released works on coloured wax, in addition to a second new LP titled Addendum, the vinyl version of which is limited to the box.

Maus will tour the United States, Europe and the UK throughout September, October and November, stopping in Canada for Pop Montreal on September 15. He's also shared Screen Memories opener "The Combine," which you can hear after scrolling through the tracklist and box set packshot below.

Maus' last LP was 2011's We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves.
