After teasing Darkness and Light early last month, John Legend has revealed all the pertinent details behind his Love in the Future follow-up.

The album will arrive on December 2 via Columbia Records. The full-length was produced by Blake Mills (Alabama Shakes), and it comes packing more than a few A-list guests.

As you can see in the newly revealed tracklisting below, Darkness and Light features Chance the Rapper on "Penthouse Floor," Alabama Shakes singer Brittany Howard on the album's title track and Miguel on "Overload."

For a taste of what's to come, you can check out a teaser clip for the upcoming video to "Love Me Now" at the bottom of the page. That's of course the album art above.

In a statement, producer Black Mills had this say about about the album:

Darkness and Light is John Legend's manifesto. Following the tradition of Soul/R&B music that celebrates love and challenges indecency, Darkness and Light digs into John's long-standing devotion to social justice, the challenges and rewards of a marriage constantly in the public eye and the recent birth of his first child, Luna. This record goes against the grain, boldly reminding us that though darkness is abound, it is the light that will ultimately push us forward.
