John Antoniuk Books Canadian Spring Tour with Castle River

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 27, 2013

Last fall, Saskatchewan's John Antoniuk hit the road in Canada in support of his latest album, Always With You. Now that winter is over, the songwriter — who has recorded under the name Smokekiller — is preparing to head out on tour once again, this time with Saskatoon rock duo Castle River.

The trip runs for a month from early May to the beginning of June. It finds Antoniuk and Castle River starting off in their home province and heading east into Ontario and Quebec. They will then head back across the Prairies all the way to the West Coast before concluding with a string of Alberta shows.

Castle River will act as Antoniuk's backing band, as well as the opener. See the schedule below.

Antoniuk wrote on his website that we can expect to see a video for the Always With You cut "Holding On (For Marlene)" soon.
