As a self-proclaimed ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$, Joey Bada$$ isn't one for following your rules. That also apparently includes staring at a solar eclipse without proper eye protection, leading to the cancellation of three shows, including one in Toronto.
On the day of the cosmic event, Bada$$ was tweeting about his past experiences of staring directly at the sun and how harmless it had been.
Though the rapper has yet to confirm whether his vision has been permanently altered by his sungazing, he seemed to be in good humour about the incident, retweeting fan-made memes about the cancellations along with a note that he was "seeing double, stacking triple."
Bada$$ was set to hit Cleveland, Chicago and Toronto with Logic and Big Lenbo as part of the former's "Everybody's Tour."

UPDATE (8/25, 11:15 a.m. EDT): Joey Bada$$ has now taken to his Instagram to show off a pair of new protective sunglasses, which apparently he's been ordered to wear by his doctor. The rapper wrote, "Doc said I gotta keep these on in the daytime now.... a lil annoying but they're pretty fire." You can see the post below.Seeing double, stacking triple.
