A new charity single supporting the J Dilla Foundation has brought on-the-rise Beast Coast rapper Joey Bada$$ onto a previously unheard beat from the late J Dilla. While available on a vinyl single, you can hear the collab, called "Two Lips," in an online stream now.
The track rolls by on a classy boom bap filled with cocktail lounge electric piano, while Bada$$ bring his smoother flow to the track with lines about waking up from a miraculous dream with his queen. There's a life-is-what-you-make-it theme to the track, with Bada$$ embracing each glorious moment as it hits him ("You can die in a second," he theorizes otherwise).
