Earlier this month, the rap world collectively lost their shit when Kendrick Lamar dropped a series of disses in his guest verse on Big Sean's "Control." Particularly miffed by Lamar's claim that he's the king of New York despite hailing from Los Angeles, throwback rap kid Joey Bada$$ has finally responded.
Atop a breezy slab of old school rap production, Bada$$ flexes his verbal muscles. He also refuses to let Lamar get away with the king of New York designation, saying "we ain't just gon' let that one hang." Then he gets into some braggery of his own.
