Joan Baez will release her latest album Whistle Down the Wind at the end of the week, and now the folk legend has announced plans to take the new tunes — and old favourites — on tour.
This year will mark Baez's final full year of touring, and as such, the upcoming run of shows has been dubbed the "Fare Thee Well Tour."
It kicks off on September 11 in Ithaca, NY, and includes a pair of Canadian stops in Montreal on September 17 and Toronto on September 18. The tour will wrap up in Minneapolis on October 6. See the full list of upcoming shows below.
As previously reported, Baez is among this year's inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony is scheduled to take place on April 7.
