Jimmy Eat World Tour North America in Support of Invented, Play Toronto

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 26, 2010

When emo journeymen Jimmy Eat World unveiled their new LP, Invented, earlier this month, they promised that tour information was on the way soon. True to their word, the band have now announced a 17-date fall tour, which includes a performance at Toronto's Kool Haus

For opening support, the band will be joined on the road by fellow Arizona native Courtney Marie Andrews, who sings backup vocals on Invented. Ticket pre-sales will start Thursday (July 29) at JimmyEatWorld.com. See the tour dates below.

Although Jimmy Eat World currently don't have a show booked in their home state, the band tweeted, "there WILL BE an AZ date. Details to come. We are not boycotting AZ!!"

Like their past two LPs, Invented will come out via Interscope. You can check out the tracklist at the bottom of the page and the album cover above. As previously reported, the album was produced by longtime collaborator Mark Trombino. Expect to hear first single "My Best Theory" sometime soon.
