Jimmy Eat World

"I Will Steal You Back"

Arizona-bred pop-rockers Jimmy Eat World recently announced they would issue their new LP Damage this June, and now the long-running crew have delivered the first taste of the set, "I Will Steal You Back."

The melancholic anthem is relatively straight-forward and riffs on the mid-tempo template Jimmy Eat World have been working with since the mid-'90s, but the rocky relationship number should still please their fans. Additionally, there seems to be a bit of a western twang to Jim Adkins' vocals on the sad-sack hook, and there's also a rather bendy solo tossed into the mid-section.

You can check it out down below.

"I Will Steal You Back" will be released digitally on April 16, while Damage drops in Canada June 11 through Dine Alone Records, and in the U.S. via RCA.

As previously reported, Jimmy Eat World are hitting up Canada on an upcoming stretch of spring dates. You can see the details over here.
