Jim Jarmusch and Jozef van Wissem Detail 'The Mystery of Heaven,' Get Tilda Swinton to Guest

Following this year's Concerning the Entrance into Eternity, musically inclined filmmaker Jim Jarmusch revealed that he would be collaborating with Dutch lute player Jozef van Wissem for another album. As promised, the duo have now confirmed the details for The Mystery of Heaven, due out November 13 via Sacred Bones.

Much like their prior album, the new material "features van Wissem's incredible and fragile lute playing, while Jarmusch provides dissonance with his guitar," a press release notes.

The album, which was recorded in New York, contains just five tracks, two of which are over 10 minutes long. One of the songs, "Etimasia," appears twice (once as a reprise). That sonically daring cut is streaming at the bottom of this page. Actress Tilda Swinton also makes a guest vocal appearance on "The More She Burns the More Beautifully She Glows."

Pre-order a copy from iTunes and you'll get two extra versions of "Flowing Light of the Godhead."
