Jim James Announces North American Tour, Hits Up Toronto

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jan 28, 2013

Next week, on February 5, My Morning Jacket leader Jim James will go solo with his album Regions of Light and Sound of God. While we wait for the disc to arrives on shelves, the Kentucky songwriter has confirmed the details of a North American spring tour.

The outing lasts for nearly a month from mid-April to mid-May. There's a Toronto show on April 24, but this is unfortunately the only Canadian gig in the U.S.-heavy trek.

James played nearly all of the instruments on Regions of Light and Sound of God himself, and he said in a statement, "I have put together a special band of some of my oldest pals to help bring this album to life on the road! We are very excited about it and cant wait to bring it to light! See ya out on the open road!"
