Jessica Pratt has announced her first album in five years. Here in the Pitch will be out on May 3 through Mexican Summer / City Slang, and the single "Life Is" is out now.
The new single is a sonic departure for Pratt, as she shifts away from her usual folk in favour of '60s-style wall-of-sound orchestrations.
According to a press release, "Here in the Pitch expands the scope of her artistry, placing her sharpest songs to date within an ever-broadening pool of influences, including spectral '60s pop, Hollywood psychedelia and bossa nova."

Pratt will be touring in 2024, but none of the currently announced shows are in Canada.
