Vancouver's own Jesse Bru got the lower room started with an exclusive live set for this year's festival. Easing in with soft, fluttering keys and calm ambiance, the young producer quickly pushed into his polished brand of heartfelt house. Bru feels his sound so well, commanding his material with such fluidity and poise it's hard not to admire.

His animated presence had the room at ease in the early goings of the night, and they began grooving in unity. Cheeky vocals gave context to some of Bru's early influences, and warm production techniques kept everything feeling current and fresh. Bru weaves in and out of consoling melodies and punchy beats, but never shies away from a break in the music to keep the audience in check. The Heart to Heart stalwart continues to establish himself as one of the city's strongest exports.
