Jeremy Enigk Plots New Solo Album

The former Sunny Day Real Estate frontman will deliver 'Ghosts' this fall

It's been eight long years since Jeremy Enigk delivered his last solo album OK Bear, and while he managed to reteam with Sunny Day Real Estate for 2014's "Lipton Witch" he's been relatively silent otherwise. Fortunately, that will soon change with the arrival of a new solo album this year.

As Brooklyn Vegan reports, Enigk has unveiled plans for a new LP called Ghosts. The album was funded through PledgeMusic, and you can watch a video about the release below.

While we don't have a tracklisting just yet, the LP is apparently going to be a big one. According to Enigk, the album is made up of old demos that he's rerecorded. "It's probably two, three volumes worth of music, but I'm putting it all into one volume," he told PledgeMusic.

Ghosts is due out in October. You'll find the album artwork above, and you can also watch Enigk perform the new song "Ancient Road" below.
