Elisapie and multidisciplinary artist Natasha Kanapé Fontaine have announced a benefit concert in solidarity with the Wet'suwet'en nation. Taking place at Montreal's La Tulipe this Wednesday (March 11), all proceeds from the concert will go towards the Unist'ot'en camp near Houston, BC.
Through the event, Elisapie and Fontaine "wish to share a great show of friendship and solidarity, in a common will to make the voice of the Wet'suwet'en heard, to stand together, because we must and because we can show that our links exist."
The artists performing at the event include Elisapie and Fontaine, as well as Jeremy Dutcher, Les Soeurs Boulay, Jesse Mac Cormack, Random Recipe, Matiu, Eadsé, Q-052, Sylvia Cloutier and Pauyungie Nutaraaluk, Christian Begin, Emile Proulx-Cloutier, Hanorah, Rara Soley, Whaali + Meyriem Saci, Nomadic Massive, Dominique Fils-Aimé, Lydia Képinski, Florent Vollant, Emile Bilodeau, Dramatik, Catherine Boivin, Odaya, Anachnid, CHANCES, and Eddy King.
