Hot on the heels of announcing a West Coast tour, Jeff Goldblum — actor, musician and all-around smooth operator — has added a Toronto date to his itinerary.
Goldblum and his backing band, the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra (with whom the Hollywood heavyweight released an album called Plays Well with Others earlier this year), will now be bringing all that jazz to the Danforth Music Hall on August 18.
This particular performance is set to feature Goldblum on piano, John Storie on guitar, Alex Frank on bass, Joe Bagg on organ, James King and Scott Gilman on saxophones, and Kenny Elliott on drums, as well as featured vocalist Gina Saputo.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (June 2) at 10 a.m. local time. A couple of presales begin at that time today.
