JEFF the Brotherhood

"Sixpack"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 16, 2012

JEFF the Brotherhood have just delivered their latest slice of distorted bubblegum garage pop, "Sixpack," which will show up on their Dan Auerbach-produced Hypnotic Knights EP. The mini-collection won't arrive at retailers until May 22, but you can stream the new song now.

The tune plays pretty poppy and kind of like a vintage Weezer track, with full-blown distorted power chords and basic drum beats surrounded by synth licks, dual guitar leads and a Rivers Cuomo-esque vocal line.

As previously reported, the brother band are touring North America this summer, making Canadian stops in Montreal and Toronto. You can catch those dates here.
