Jay-Z Shares "Smells Like Teen Sprit"-referencing Lyrics for "Holy Grail"

This weekend, Jay-Z unveiled the tracklisting for his upcoming Magna Carta Holy Grail LP, and now he's revealed the rumoured "Smells Like Teen Spirit"-referencing lyrics behind de facto title track "Holy Grail."

Shortly after dropping the Samsung app Galaxy users will need to install on their phones to access the LP, Jay-Z posted a screen grab of a set of lyrics for "Holy Grail," which includes a nod to the Nirvana hit. While it isn't a line-for-line tip of the hat, it includes the chorus "And we all just / Entertainers / And we're stupid / And contagious." It also features the line "Nobody to blame / Kurt Cobain / I did it to myself."

The song apparently also features an appearance from "Legends of the Summer" tourmate Justin Timberlake.

As previously reported, Courtney Love had told the Huffington Post that she had given the rapper permission to use lyrics from the iconic grunge single.

Magna Carta Holy Grail arrives July 4 via Samsung Galaxy phones, though "Holy Grail" is said to go live tomorrow (June 25).
