Jason Molina, Volcano Choir and Mark Kozelek Featured in Benefit 12-inch Series
Though he tragically passed away last year, late Songs: Ohia and Magnolia Electric Co. frontman Jason Molina will have some previously unreleased songs appear on an upcoming 12-inch.

The 12-inch will appear as part of Project Carousel, a campaign to restore the Crescent Park Loof Carousel, an East Providence, Rhode Island landmark built in 1895.

The project is being spearheaded by Shorebird through IndieGogo, and seeks a total of $250,000 in funding.

The Jason Molina tracks were selected and contributed by Secretly Canadian co-founder Chris Swanson. In addition, there will be exclusive, brand-new material from Justin Vernon's Volcano Choir, as well as Mark Kozelek.

All three 12-inches will have artwork from illustrator David Macauley and will be limited to 3,500 copies each.

There are plenty of other rewards for those who donate. All of the info is available here. You can also watch a short video about the project below.
