Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker may have been a quintessential figure of Britpop, but the Sheffield, UK-born musician has called Paris home for years. Hosting the radio program Sunday Service over the weekend, Cocker paid tribute to his adopted hometown, playing "happy French music" from artists like Serge Gainsbourg, Jacques Dutronc and Françoise Hardy.
He also debuted a new spoken word piece in reaction to the terrorist attacks on Paris, simply titled "November 13, 2015." It takes the listener through Cocker's experience of a normal day turning into a tragedy, and trying to follow a friend's advice to just "keep going."
