Vancouver, BC-based fuzz rock duo Japandroids have been on an endless string of tours since their Post-Nothing LP took the world by storm last year. It's gotten to the point where they're too busy to hunker down and record a new album; instead, they've embarked upon a singles series that has so far given us "Art Czars" and "Younger Us". Now, they've announced the next instalment in the series.

The band's next seven-inch is called "Heavenward Grand Prix," and it will be the third release in the proposed series of five. In addition to the title track, the disc boasts a cover of PJ Harvey's "Shame" on the B-side.

Polyvinyl will release "Heavenward Grand Prix" on November 5, limited to 2,000 copies. A pre-order of the seven-inch is available here. The A-side is currently available for streaming below. Thanks to Stereogum for the tip.
