James Murphy Writing Music for Broadway Production Starring Daniel Craig

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 19, 2013

Life after LCD Soundsystem has led James Murphy to collaborations with Arcade Fire and Julie Ruin, and apparently up next is a Broadway play starring James Bond actor Daniel Craig.

Vulture reports [via Consequence of Sound] that Murphy's Broadway debut has him providing original music for a new staging of Harold Pinter's relationship drama Betrayal. The play will be directed by Mike Nichols and star Craig and actress Rachel Weisz. Info on the score has yet to be revealed, but previews for the play begin October 1, while it officially opens October 27.

Also set to premiere this fall is the previously detailed Little Duck short film, which Murphy put together with Ron Howard for Canon's Project Imaginat10n. It's set to debut at Canon's Project Imaginat10n Film Festival.
