James Blake Collaborator Rob McAndrews Goes Solo for Debut Album as Airhead
Rob McAndrews serves as James Blake's touring guitarist, and he even received a co-writing credit for the song "Lindisfarne II" from Blake's self-titled 2011 album. Now, McAndrews is preparing to launch a solo career of his own by releasing his debut album as Airhead. For Years is out on June 11 through R&S Records.

For Years features a guest appearance from Blake on the closing track "Wait." The album's 11 songs are said to range from atmospheric melancholia to material that a press release calls "playful," "sun-dappled" and "bossa nova-sounding"
