Jaguar Love Spill Details On Debut Album
Former Blood Brother, Cody Votolato spilled the release date and title of the Matador debut album by his new group, Jaguar Love, which is comprised of fellow ex-Brother Johnny Whitney and ex-Pretty Girls Make Graves member J Clark.

In a blog entry on the band's MySpace page posted on Saturday, April 5 and titled "Take me to the Sea available August 19th", Votolato wrote, "Hey friends! Our record will be out August 19th worldwide and digitally!"

So there you have it glum post-punk lovers, you can start salivating like a horny pit-bull locked in a car on a hot summer day, Jaguar Love will release Take Me To the Sea on August 19 through Matador Records.

A West coast tour is supposedly starting on May 25, but no dates have been confirmed yet. It's doubtful there'll be any Canadian dates in that West coast window anyway, and with the band scheduled to play all over Europe starting on June 12 through to Ireland's Oxygen Festival on July 13, us Canucks will have to wait until at least mid-summer to see what kind of live love the Jaguar Love crew hold in store for us.

Preceding the full-length, a self-titled CDEP featuring "Highways Of Gold" and two additional songs (one from album, one exclusive) will be available on June 3 (more details to follow).
