The Last Kiss

BY Tara MuldoonPublished Apr 9, 2009

Jadakiss has two types of fans: those that like his street music and those that only listen to his mainstream singles. His newest release, The Last Kiss, definitely caters to both camps. With a slew of guests that range from Ghostface to Mary J. Blige, and everyone in between, it's quite obvious that he's trying for more pop appeal, and no one can be mad at that. Years deep in the game, The Last Kiss is a combination of rugged lyrics and a mature beats selection. "Can't Stop" and "Letter To B.I.G." are definitely album highlights, while "Who's Real" may confuse long-time fans. He sounds confident and on-point throughout the second half of the album. Once you get over the idea of Jadakiss and Ne-Yo singing love songs together, the rest of the album plays smoothly.
