After bringing Dave Grohl in for a special guest spot earlier this season, ABC's The Muppets is set to bring Jack White to the screen as part of tonight's season finale, where he'll perform a rendition of a Stevie Wonder classic.
On tonight's episode, White will team up with Muppet house band Electric Mayhem to play Wonder's "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" at the request of Kermit the Frog. A synopsis explains that Kermit turns to White for advice after he and Miss Piggy reevaluate their own relationship.
In conjunction with the episode, White's version of the song will be released on 7-inch vinyl through Third Man Records, as well as through digital retailers. For Apple Music subscribers, the song is currently available to stream through the service.
