Perpetually busy music man Jack White has been helming the American Epic documentary series and dabbling in children's literature, but he's still managed to find the time to hit the studio to start work on a new solo record.
Yes, the Third Man himself is currently in the midst of recording his third solo LP. Details are still super scarce, but the official Third Man Records Instagram account has shared some photos of White and his studio musicians.
According to the captions, White and co. were recording in New York on July 27, then hit Los Angeles yesterday (July 30) to lay down some more new music.
Check out both photos below.
When the new LP does arrive, it will mark White's solo follow-up to 2014's Lazaretto.
Since then, he's also released Dodge and Burn with the Dead Weather, a career-spanning acoustic compilation and a deluxe 10th anniversary reissue of the White Stripes' Icky Thump. He also made time to guest on records like Beyoncé's Lemonade and A Tribe Called Quest's We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service.
