It's been some time since American Express brought us one of its high-profile Unstaged webcasts, with previous participants in the live concert series including acts like Arcade Fire, John Legend & the Roots, My Morning Jacket and Coldplay. Now we've learned of the latest artist who will stream an entire show for free via the internet: Jack White.

Like previous instalments in the Unstaged series, the filming will be spearheaded by some big-name cinematic talent. In this case, British actor Gary Oldman will be lending his directing talents.

The gig will take place on April 27 at Webster Hall in New York City. The show will be streamed in partnership with VEVO and YouTube at 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PST. Watch a trailer for the concert below.

Tickets for the gig on on sale to the public tomorrow (April 17) at 3 p.m. EST, and a little earlier for American Express cardholders or members of Third Man Records' Vault. Go to Jack White's website for more information.

In other streaming news, White's debut solo album, Blunderbuss, will be streaming tonight (April 16) at 9 p.m. BST/9 p.m. PST over at iTunes. Start times may vary depending on your time zone.

White has also expanded his tour schedule slightly, although there haven't been any new Canadian announcements. See the updated schedule here.

Blunderbuss drops on April 23 via Third Man/Columbia.
