Jack White has been touring behind his debut solo album, this year's Blunderbuss, and he's not about to stop anytime soon. The garage rock auteur has just announced that he'll be heading out on a fall tour of North America.
White will spend the remainder of the summer playing shows in Europe. Then, in September, he will embark on a short outing in the eastern part of North America. This will include a Montreal date on October 2 plus back-to-back Toronto shows on October 3 and 4. There are also a few new U.S. gigs, and you can see his schedule below.
Tickets go on sale on Friday (August 17) at 11 a.m. EST. There will be a limited pre-sale for members of Third Man Records' Vault subscription service on Wednesday (August 15).
The only downside to all this is that it means he will have less free time to embark upon crazy collaborative productions or unveil wacky vinyl inventions. Knowing Jack, however, he will probably find a way to make the most of what little time he has at home.
