Jack Black and Jason Segel

"Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy 2010" (video)

Most of the Christmas songs we have posted so far this year have been serious. There was Coldplay's sombre "Christmas Lights," the Golden Filter's atmospheric "White Nights" and the Futureheads angst-y "Christmas Was Better in the '80s."

Well, here's a dose of ridiculousness to brighten up your holiday season. It comes from funnymen Jack Black and Jason Segel, who did a cover of the David Bowie and Bing Crosby's "Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy." Black and Segel's version is a hilariously overblown take on the Christmas classic, complete with synth strings and shredding guitars.

The single is available on iTunes, with all international proceeds going towards Doctors Without Borders. U.S. proceeds will go to Blue Star Families.
