Jack Grey is real!

This spring, Jack White and Jack Black made "Jack Grey" a reality when they hung out at a Tenacious D show. Now, they're taking their Jack-off to the next level, since they have reportedly recorded a song together for release on White's label Third Man Records.

This news comes straight from Jack Black himself. During Tenacious D's show in Nashville on Sunday (August 4), Black reportedly told the crowd, "Jack White, we went over to his house today and recorded a brand new song" [via Tennessean].

He added that the song will be out soon through Third Man. It's not entirely clear if the song will be a full-blown collaboration or a Tenacious D track produced by White, but we can only assume that it's the Greatest Song in the World.

White is currently on a very brief break in his busy tour schedule with the Raconteurs. The band will be hitting the road again this week, making their way to Toronto for a show on September 12. See the tour schedule here.
