J. Cole Delays 'Born Sinner'

Back in November, J. Cole announced he'd be following up his 2011 studio set Cole World: The Sideline Story with a new LP titled Born Sinner this January. Regrettably, or perhaps predictably, the album is being pushed to a later date.

An interview with Pop Stop TV on New Year's Eve had Cole admitting the previously reported January 28 street date is no longer valid, but he didn't quite cop to a newly arranged ETA.

"It's not gonna make January 28, it's gonna be later than that," he said. "I needed more time."

While it's unclear just when Born Sinner will actually come out, you can sample first single "Miss America" in the player down below.

"You should really expect it to be on the next level," Cole had previously assured of the LP. "I've been in a great place this year creatively, so things have been going good. I still go through some stress but it's more of a good, natural stress rather than worrying about how many records are going to sell."
