Iron Maiden Bring "The Book of Souls World Tour" Back to North America
Iron Maiden brought their Book of Souls tour to North America for a short string of dates early last year, but to cover more ground, the metal icons are taking the tour back to the continent this summer.

Starting in June, the band will work their way through a handful of cities they missed on last year's run, keeping them on the road for about a month and a half. They'll play 25 dates over that span, bringing Swedish outfit Ghost along as special guests for all dates.

As far as Canadian shows go, the band will quickly swing north of the border nearer to the end of the tour. They'll grace Toronto's newly minted Budweiser Stage on June 15 and Quebec City's Videotron Centre the following evening (June 16.)

The tour also marks Maiden's return to places such as Lincoln, Minneapolis, Oklahoma City and Oakland for the first time in many years, along with the band's first-ever live appearance in Brooklyn.

"We will, of course, be bringing the full production with us including all the Eddies and the Maya-themed stage sets," bassist Steve Harris added in a statement. "There's been a great reaction from everyone to this tour's theme, people really seem to love it. We're still deciding on the final set-list and we'll work that out once we get into rehearsals. Most of our North American fans haven't seen the show yet so as we want to give them the same 'Book of Souls' live experience that we took around the world, it's unlikely we'll change much. And of course we know our fans appreciate us playing a lot of the older songs too, so we will continue to do that!"

Tickets will go on sale on January 27 with an exclusive pre-sale for Iron Maiden Fan Club members happening beforehand. More ticketing info can be found through the band's official website, and the complete tour itinerary can be found below.
