After detailing the second annual Winnipeg edition of Interstellar Rodeo earlier this month, organizers have now gone ahead and revealed what's taking place for the instalment in Edmonton. Big hitters for the Alberta event this year include Cat Power, Jose Gonzalez and Kathleen Edwards.

Marking its fifth anniversary, Edmonton's Interstellar Rodeo takes place at Hawrelak Park's Heritage Amphitheatre from July 22 to 24. The bill also features performances from the likes of Sam Roberts Band, Whitehorse, the Strumbellas, Lord Huron, Reuben and the Dark, Marty Stuart, Margo Price, the Mariachi Ghost, Adia Victoria, Andra Day, Fantastic Negrito, and Sam Outlaw.

"Every year people tell me they find their new favourite artists on our stage," festival producer Shauna de Cartier said in a statement. "Edmontonians have a voracious appetite for new music, and it's a delight to feed that passion by introducing the city to artists they didn't know existed until they play Interstellar Rodeo."

Weekend passes go on sale this Saturday (April 30), with an adult pass going for $225 and a youth pass running at $135. Tickets are also available for the individual days for $99 an adult, and $75 for youths. You can find out more info over here.

As previously reported, Winnipeg's Interstellar Rodeo takes place August 12 to 14. The lineup includes Wilco, case/lang/veirs, Serena Ryder, Whitehorse and more. You'll find the full lineup details over here.
